Eider Duck was lovingly restored by one of its recent previous owners (Roger and Lesley Andrews who still live on the island) and they cleverly kept the original charm and character while upgrading with modern décor and fittings. There are old stone flagged and wooden floors throughout.
Egyptian cotton sheets, fluffy towels, coffee machine, washer with dryer, wifi – we know these are the kind of details that make a difference. They are what we look for when we stay somewhere, so we’ll make sure that Eider Duck meets all those expectations.
As a family we have strong connections with the island with some family now living there and it is a place we all still love to visit when we can. If of interest during your stay we are able to provide freshly caught lobster and crabs with some notice before your holiday. It remains a very unique place and attracts visitors from all over the world.
